AHS FALL REGIONAL MEETING
Hosted By
Tallahassee Daylily Society

The Tallahassee Daylily Society hosted the American Hemerocallis Society Fall Region 12 meeting on October 14, 2006 at the Holiday Inn on North Monroe St. in Tallahassee, Florida. Twice a year Florida AHS members gather to conduct the business of the society, enjoy fellowship and discuss daylilies. The guest speaker was John Kinnebrew, Jr. of Scottsmoor, Florida. He gave an outstanding presentation on his hybridizing program showing slides of the Kinnebrew Daylily Garden and some of his future introductions.

John has been hybridizing since he was a young boy when his mother and father got him interested in growing daylilies. He showed slides of the family owned and operated garden including many of their upcoming new cultivars.
